Operating Assets
SDL has the following major assets at its manufacturing site: -
- Apart from the utilities and bottling section, most of the plant & machinery has been erected during the period 1991-95.
- SDPL has storage facilities for 20 million bottles. The company has also established 4 semi-automatic and 3 automatic bottling lines along with mini-tunnel rinsers with conveyor for bottle washing.
- The company has 14 Salwood wooden vats of a capacity of 386 KL and 4,000 American Oak casks of a capacity of 750 KL for maturing malt spirit grain spirit and ENA.
- The utilities include boilers, coal handling plant, weighing bridge, electrical distribution system including two high tension sub stations & DG sets and water treatment and storage plant for 1.5 million liters with distribution systems.
- The company has also established a workshop and a modern research & development center at the site.
