SDPL/ SDBL

The company has extensive marketing and distribution network covering the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Meghalaya, Tripura, Daman, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Manipur and Kerala etc. The company has a professional, young and energetic field staff for its marketing and distribution operations.

The company also currently supplies spirits to liquor multinationals on a contract basis and Exports Beers to the United Kingdom, Middle East and the USA. SDBL primarily operates in the Premium Lager and Super Strong Beer segments

Started as a bottling plant, SDPL today is an integrated distillery for manufacturing alcohol from molasses, grain and malt. The company is well entrenched in the Indian liquor market and has active manufacturing, marketing and distribution operations to serve its markets in India and abroad.

SDBL
SDBL was incorporated on 26th March 1993 and promoted by SOM Distilleries Limited. The ultra modern brewery cum IMFL manufacturing unit is at village Rojra Chak which is about 26 Kms from Bhopal. This plant is among the largest of its type in the state with an annual capacity of 36, 00,000 cases.

Achievements
Black Fort Premium Lager is one such Brand manufactured by SOM Distilleries & Breweries Limited which was awarded the Bronze medal in the International Beer & Cider competition held in London, UK in the year 1999. SOM created history by being the first Indian bottled Lager to be awarded in the International Food Exhibition.

Excellence Award
Mr. J.K. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director, SOM, was awarded the Udyog Ratna 1995-96 by Mr. Bhism Narayan Singh, former governor of Tamil Nadu. It was instituted by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, India.
